Meet Danielle
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Welcome! I'm glad you found DVS Counselling. I started this counselling practice with the intention of helping people identify their intrinsic value and resiliency to promote positive changes in their lives. With nearly 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I am beyond certain that talk therapy can be a beneficial addition to address various concerns. I work from a relational framework, where together we will explore what works (or doesn't!) for you. I feel honoured to hold the role of counsellor and witness positive change in my clients' lives.
A little about myself: I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with BCACC (British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with CCPA (Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association). I have a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University (April 2022) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria (May 2006). Read More...

"I had the privilege of working with Danielle over the course of her 9 month practicum. Danielle is a genuinely warm and empathetic person, and those traits serve her well in developing the necessary therapeutic relationship with her clients. As required, she can be enthusiastic and quick to laugh, or as required present a calm, reflective and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their thoughts..
- Stephen Roberts, RCC, CCC
